Actor Profiles
Actors in Canada, or anywhere for that matter, have to be versatile and adaptable. Besides seeing them in our Mysteries, you may have seen our actors performing in movies, TV shows, commercials, in the theatre, busking in the streets, or singing in cabarets and choirs. Several of our actors are also writers, directors and producers. Some of us work in Corporate situations, assisting businesses through role-play training.
Carol Riddell
Carol fell in love with acting as a little kid, putting on shows in the family living room, and annoying her parents by memorizing (and reciting) every TV commercial she could. A start in Musical Theatre led to Theatre School in Toronto (where she met her husband, Mike Millar), followed by print work, TV commercials, and more theatre. During the school year, she can often be found leading Drama and Dance workshops in various schools, and enjoying the kids very much. Favourite roles in the mysteries include Martha Vineyard, Sharon Stoned, Colette Wright and Edie.
